I do not have a Kobo e-reader and my sisters Kindle e-reader is broken, so all of this is being done on desktop apps. I have also tried converting these books to other files but it doesn't work. I tried the troubleshooting tips on the ReadMe file but didn't work. Both books were legally purchased and downloaded via Amazon. I am using the latest version of DRM (6.7.0), 64bit version of Calibre (downloaded today) and version 1.24.3 of Kindle. If you have not used plugins with Sigil that means you have not validated with FlightCrew or EpubCheck plugins. Sigil, like any editor, will not prevent you from creating a non-valid epub, that is up to the author to validate their own epub using the validation plugins or external validation tools. This really is not an bug unless Sigil has somehow introduced the breakage and flightCrew and epubcheck show the epub as valid. Where do I get the plugins? Subject: Re: EPub Won't Open in Newest Kindle Previewer ( #172) Where do I find the plugin? I looked on the github page again and did not see where to get plugins. I am aware that there are plugins, but I have not looked into them yet. Kindle Previewer supports previewing your book. Except, of course, for the last little bit of getting the epub to compile on the kindle previewer. Kindle Previewer is a free desktop application that enables authors, publishers and eBook service providers to preview how their books will appear when delivered to Kindle customers, and makes it easy to audit books for different screen sizes, display orientations and font sizes. I am new to Sigil, but I can tell you that I have tried every combination of ebook publishing InDesign, Word, OpenOffice, GoogleDocs, KindleGen, etc and the first thing that has actually worked the way I need it to is Sigil.
